A year ago, I told you about my wacky cancer adventure, and I thought I might as well update you now. I had MRI scans and blood tests six months after the surgery and then again one year after the surgery (December), and it shows I am still clean. No signs of anything.
Now, it’s still a bit of a mystery how a slow-growing cancer ending up in two distant places (my pelvis and my liver), but it’s apparently the lamest metastasizing cancer I’ve ever heard of. I think I’ve now well moved on to worrying about other stuff, so thank you for your support and thank God.
Well, hope you all had a good holiday. It’s back to work now, and I’ll try to be funny again later this week.
Thanks be to God!
That is good news. The post surgery MRIs are stressful (at least for me), since there's that nagging worry that something shows up. Here's to hoping you can put that stress behind you and move on to other, more enjoyable things.
