So, scientists estimate that about 13.799 billion years ago was the Big Bang. The universe began as a hot, dense point called the singularity.
In the first 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 seconds, scientists say all forces were unified into a single force.
In the next 0.00000000000000000000000000000000001 seconds, scientists believe that gravity separated from the other forces, and the remaining were unified into the electronuclear force.
Then, in the next 0.00000000000000000000000000000001 seconds, the universe underwent rapid expansion and cooled from 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 to 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 degrees Kelvin.
Then, in the next 0.000000000001 seconds, quarks and gluons formed.
And in the next 0.000001 seconds, quarks combined to form baryons.
And then things really slowed down, as it took up to 20 minutes to form the first nuclei of atoms.
Why do I say all this? I just find it pretty interesting that scientists are pretty certain what happened 13.799 billion years ago minus one tredecillionth a second but have no idea why animals yawn.
