I’m an old-school classical liberal, and I can tell my time is sunsetting. We were never very thrilled with Trump, but we were proven wrong on so much about him that no one has any reason to listen to us anymore. Still, I yearn for the old days of what we fought for that seems to be lost in more mindless pursuit of “owning the libs.” William F. Buckley has been replaced by Catturd, and I’m just never quite made my peace with that.
So anyway, I still think my old way of thinking has some value, so here, one last time, are the beliefs of an old-school conservative.
