I think I’ve always mentally very similar to atheists. I am a very logical, rational person — maybe at times infuriatingly so. And the logical problem with faith is that one can have faith in anything, and many do from a variety of religions to whatever is the vogue belief of the day (like Communism or nonsensical gender beliefs).
And yet, I’ve never been able to make the leap to being an atheist.
Except once. Briefly.
