I’ve seen a number of AI slop meant to look like real video of wildlife getting rescued, and it just seemed like a fun thing to parody. I have to say, though, how impressed I am at how real Sora made the raccoon — even doing pretty novel things. It has all these tiny, little mannerisms that just seem very raccoonish.
When I shared on Twitter, I got two angry reactions from people who obviously didn’t watch to the end: Those who warned me about getting close to wildlife and those who thought they were smart for pointing out this was actually AI.
