Once again, here are some more of my favorite The Babylon Bee posts of the approximately 666 I wrote. So now we’re getting into March 2020 — the beginning of the pandemic and the start of headlines being dominated by that (until they’re once again dominated by the presidential election).
Substack has been giving me image trouble where I was just screen capturing from The Babylon Bee, so I had to do something different this time and cut it short. I quit being an engineer to be a writer because I don’t want to debug things.
It’s been Disney’s trick to add some LGBTQ reference that’s not plot important so they could get some praise in the States while then removing it for international release to places like China. I’m not sure what their new direction will mean for this, but they still love China.
It was a habit of the left long before the election to just come up with crazy scenarios to worry about instead of a candidate that could beat Trump. Ends up they had nothing to worry about, because they nominated Biden — who probably had the best shot against Trump — and all that happened was whatever January 6th was.
Demonstrating Christlike Forgiveness, Man Watches Next Rian Johnson Movie
Autobiographical.
Trump Cancels 2020 Election Over Coronavirus Concerns
Is voting worth dying over? Maybe. I knew this had the potential to be spread as fake news which is the explanation for that first line.
God To Ignore Quarantine And Continue Being Everywhere
I guess not every post has to be funny. This was right at the beginning of the pandemic and the lockdown when no one knew what exactly was going on or how bad things would be. So it seemed some time for some moral support.
Man Almost Certain There Wasn’t A Book Of Nahum Last Time He Read The Bible
Again, autobiographical. There are these minor prophets who don’t get quoted much, and I’m almost certain sometimes I’ve never even heard of them before.
Disaster: Trump's Been Binge-Watching Netflix And He Just Bought 17 Tigers
Remember Tiger King? It’s always fun to write for Trump. I miss him.
Well, that’s it for now unless I can figure out the Substack image issue that is making these a pain. So which of these is your favorite?
Not only is it a superpower, there's also a spell for it! https://www.ign.com/articles/fantastic-beasts-secrets-of-dumbledore-china-cut-gay-dialogue
I lol'd at the first "autobiographical." Which I now regret because my wife asked me what was so funny and 10 minutes later she's still rolling her eyes at me. (To be fair, she's always doing that so...)
