I lol'd at the first "autobiographical." Which I now regret because my wife asked me what was so funny and 10 minutes later she's still rolling her eyes at me. (To be fair, she's always doing that so...)

I remember there was an episode of Hardcore History (probably about the Persian empire) where Dan Carlin read a bit from the Book of Nahum in his full intense dramatic Dan Carlin voice, it was pretty great.

Not actually relevant to the article, but the topic of the Book of Nahum doesn't organically come up too often...

I remember the 50-foot Trump with laser eyes Bee and thought it hilarious at the time, the perfect satire of the left's demagoguing Trump for four years using the full apparatus of the Deep State to destroy him

This has nothing to do with the article, but since you seem to read these… any chance you and Ethan can convince Daily Wire to do some sort of subscription just for the fun kids content specifically. I’d love to be able to support your work there without implicitly also supporting some of the folks who I am too polite to name on your own Substack.

BTW, I do plan to do another ask me anything with paid subscribers. It won't probably be for a couple weeks, though.

I'm not sure what the future looks like for the Daily Wire, but what they are doing is taking the profits from the political commentary to become a full entertainment company. Remember, they made $100 million last year. And now they're investing $100 over three years into just kids programming.

I’m always a sucker for the “Christian in-jokes” like the Nahum. Feels like Original Bee™️ vs, well, whatever it is now.

They still do church humor and always have. It just never got the spread of political jokes.
