I sure hope your new job includes writing screenplays for your novels. I recently read Hellbender, and both Superegos. Sci Fi is not normally the genre I read, but I really enjoyed these three books, and would love a movie (even though there'd be a pretty high body count).

Yeah, I might pitch some of my stuff one of these days, but right now we’re working on original properties we’re developing together.

I’d buy it again, if I could!

I'm doing pretty well. You can't give any details whatsoever? Even behind the paywall? Bummer.

Your writing style is seriously the funniest I've read. I'm reading Punch your Inner Hippie on Hoopla, and I'm really waking up to my relative lack of awesomeness. Thanks for opening my eyes.

Ha, almost forgot about my pre-novel books.

Yeah, I’m working on some cool stuff with Ethan Nicolle and Eric Branscum, but most of it you probably won’t see for a year or so. We are working on some shorts which hopefully everyone can see soon.

Can you talk about it now that they've announced it?

A little bit now. I didn't know they were going to announce it so early.

Didn't look and thought I was getting the new one. Now I have two Kindle copies of Superego. The Fleming fortune grows.

Sorry, but now maybe you have both editions (there was an older one with a different cover).

I always like most either the political-ish parody topics and then short-ish stories. Particularly long ones I have to save to read later and I always never remember that I can read them when I actually have the time to read them. (One of these days have to get to reading Sidequest: Confidence...)

I like the shortish stories but they’re harder to come up with. I do have a few longer stories in me, but it’s hard finding the time to writer those while balancing writing for the Substack every week. Figuring it out.
