Hey Frank, I get it's a ways out, but do you eventually think you'd publish H3llbender in book format? I love your short stories, but reading them all together in a physical format is much more satisfying for me personally.
My 2.5-year-old invented a new verse to "Old McDonald" last night. On the farm there was a chinchilla with a "Chilla Time!" here and a "Chilla Time!" there. He had me bursting out laughing. I think you have a fan.
That model can work. John Ringo has been releasing his latest books one chapter at a time over on his substack for the past year. Lots of comments, so it's like we're all the beta readers. He is planning on publishing them traditionally as well. If you go this route, he might have some suggestions.
I actively hate outlining and will avoid doing it under all circumstances. As a result I sat on so many of my stories for so many years and did three major rewrites before I was happy enough with it to show to people I know (pretty much only my wife). Of course, once those were decent enough, other things got easier to write, too, so hopefully you won't regret writing a serial. I won't regret reading it either way!

I will most likely do a physical release after the serial is over, but this way I hope to write it quicker and get it to everyone much much quicker.

That's so cute. Thanks for sharing.
I loved Origin Story, so I'm excited to see more long form stories here– and Hellbender, no less!

. . . i'm quite excited to see the beta version of SE4.
I'm really excited for everyone to see it, but it's definitely the most complicated of the novels.
