Why would we sell sovereign American soil to a foreign country?

If we have debt, we should stop spending money we don't have.

Now see here -- I live in New York and ostensibly (look it up) work in Connecticut.

If CT were sold to NK, or even Nicestan, where would I be?

Hell, CT tried threatening to toll 1 mile of highway that a lot of NYers use bc back in Feb 2020:

That got superseded (again, look it up) bc other things happened in 2020.

Maybe NY should take over CT, but we have enough issues.

They have some nice rivers and waterfronts. Nice place to sail, if you're into that sort of thing.
