Wow, you learn something every day. As a very casual Harry Potter fan (meaning, I've seen some of the movies, usually with Rifftrax, read none of the books, and have played through the LEGO Harry Potter games-- so I guess not so much "fan" as "I know of it"). Given that there was castles I always figured Harry Potter took place like at least in the 60s if not earlier. Everything seemed so old.

Funny but really something that obvious, I would expect Ron to be the one to get it and both Harry and Hermione tell him he's an idiot.
